Advertising Performance Metrics

Advertising Performance Metrics

We understand the importance of measuring the effectiveness of your advertising investment. To help our brand partners assess the impact of their campaigns, we offer a range of performance metrics based on the ad product and placement location. However, it's crucial to note that we do not provide performance metrics as a standard part of the advertising process. If you require performance data for your ad products, you must request these metrics separately.

Requesting Performance Metrics:

To ensure that we can provide you with accurate and meaningful performance data, we kindly ask that you notify us of your intent to request metrics during the initial conversations about your advertising selection. If this is not possible, please provide us with at least a 2-week notice before you need the performance metrics.

Please keep in mind that sufficient time must pass for the metrics to accumulate and provide valuable insights. Typically, we recommend requesting performance metrics after a minimum of 30 days from the ad's launch, with more comprehensive data available after 6-9 months, depending on the placement.

Magazine Advertising Metrics:

For advertisements placed in our magazine, such as page ads, sponsored content, or sponsored columns, we do not have specific tracking metrics due to the nature of how the magazine is created and distributed. However, we can provide you with our current magazine subscriber count, which gives you an idea of the potential reach of your advertisement. This is similar to how performance is measured in traditional print magazines.

Podcast Advertising Metrics:

For podcast sponsorships, we can provide you with the following metrics:
  1. Episode downloads: The total number of times the sponsored episode has been downloaded.
  2. Email open rates: The percentage of subscribers who opened the email announcing the release of the sponsored podcast episode. Please note that we cannot provide click-through rates for these emails.
Social Media Advertising Metrics:

For sponsored social media posts and contests on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest, we can provide a variety of metrics, depending on the platform. These may include:
  1. Impressions: The total number of times your sponsored post or contest was displayed.
  2. Reach: The number of unique users who saw your sponsored post or contest.
  3. Likes: The number of likes your sponsored post or contest received.
  4. Comments: The number of comments your sponsored post or contest received.
  5. Shares: The number of times your sponsored post or contest was shared by users.
  6. Link clicks: The number of times users clicked on a link within your sponsored post or contest (if applicable).
Pastry Arts Virtual Summit Advertising Metrics:

For brands that place a video in our virtual summit as part of a sponsorship package, we cannot provide specific video view counts. However, we can offer the following metrics:
  1. Summit registration numbers: The total number of attendees who registered for the summit.
  2. Email open rates: The percentage of subscribers who opened the registration emails, which include mentions of your brand as a sponsor.
  3. Social media metrics: Aggregate metrics from the various social media posts promoting the virtual summit, which include mentions of your brand as a sponsor.
Digital Advertising Metrics:

For email marketing campaigns, we can provide the following metrics:
  1. Open rates: The percentage of subscribers who opened the sponsored email.
  2. Click-through rates: The percentage of subscribers who clicked on a link within the sponsored email.
For website campaigns, we can provide the following metrics:
  1. Page Views: The number of visitors to the website.
To request advertising performance metrics, please contact the team member assigned to you or reach out to us at sales@pastryartsmag.com. Our team will work with you to gather the available metrics based on your specific ad products and the time frame since their launch.
